Sorry about your friend and congrats on the new project. I'm also an El Camino fan and looking forward to following this project.
I had a '68 L78 El Camino bought off the original owner, a guy that lived in the neighborhood. The L78 package included an M21, 4:11 posi, and disc brakes. Fun car.Ed
