Q: Hello Im Francisco from Miami and I have real interest in the bike, but as you can understand and know you have a very important bike but one of ghe most cloned in the last years. Im serious (you can see my over 1000 and 100% positives feedback and for more 10 years en Ebay) and I asume you too but I liked check it the bike before biding. Im looking (if you are ok) in fly on week end to your location to check it. Please let me know if thats are posible and then we start the arrangements. Thanks Sep-25-13
A: Thanks for the interest Francisco. First of all I want to apologize to you for picking you out from some of the e-mails that I have received wanting to know if this is a clone. And I understand your concern. The reason I picked you is because you also had a second question. And to answer your second question, the bike is not available for viewing. I hope you can understand this from my end. Now for the most important question. First of all if you have researched S1's you would know that this is a correct VIN number. Second of all, the motor number goes with the VIN number. Forgive me if I sound rude.Third and most important, I have in my possession a State of Illinois title that has a VIN number on it that matches the motorcycle VIN. Also on the title are the dates that the title was issued and the purchase date. Date of purchase10/15/85. Date title was issued 10/22/85. As I stated in the description, I was going to put this on the street. Back then, these were not valuable. There were no cloned S1's running around like today. If you wanted a street version, you went and bought a Eddie Lawson replica. In hindsight, I'm glad I did not put it on the street. I hope this helps. Just remember that this auction may be the your only opportunity to ever own a real S1. Thanks
