The first gen Superbike series (1979 through 1982) featured the KZ1000, CB900F, and GS1000E. The second generation Superbikes (after they downsized max cc's from 1,049 to 750cc) were the GS750/700ES, the GPZ750, and the V45 Interceptor. It was that way from 1983-1985.
