1980 KAWASAKI KZ750
Running Project bike. Has 25,700 miles. Approximately 1.5-2 years ago we started working on it as a shop project. Carburetors were cleaned, oil changed, and new spark plugs were installed. The bike starts right up and runs good, idles good. All lights/signals/gauges, etc. work. Charging system works good, putting out 13 volts. (note: just noticed headlight not working...maybe just a bulb) Main problem the bike still has is the gas tank. A previous owner used a "kreem" liner in it that is now flaking loose. We started to clean out the tank, but got sidetracked with other projects. This bike got pushed back further and further on the back burner, and now we're trying to clean house and make some room, so it's got to go. In addition to the gas tank, the back tire is worn down and needs replaced. Bike has a little rust...things like the seat pan, shock springs, etc. Also, a tear on one side of the seat. Will make an easy project bike for someone that takes the time to repair the tank, or just find a replacement on eBay. Bike has a clear title.
