    C/L 1971 Honda cb450 - $1400 (Fort collins CO)

Looks like this a good Honda CB450 located here in CO. I always liked these . . .

Runs, only 7000 miles and a title?
      That is a bargain.

What's the appeal of those little beasts?

Maybe it's the phrase.."don't waste my time.." I hate it when sellers say that. How 'bout.."serious buyers only please"

I don't remember anything about these bikes that would be appealing, but it is a 46 yr. old Honda

I always thought that that model was extremely good looking.

Drixton actually had a lot of success with that engine road racing. You can google it.

My 7th grade English Teacher raced one with success at Ascot Park, in CA in the 60s. I was so surprised to see an article on it in one of the cycle magazines around that time. You go, Mr. Peterson!

The torsion bar valve springs make it difficult to change valve springs, also, a 180 degree crank provides a sound I don't prefer, along with a rocking couple vibration I really don't like.
