I always thought that that model was extremely good looking.
Drixton actually had a lot of success with that engine road racing. You can google it.
My 7th grade English Teacher raced one with success at Ascot Park, in CA in the 60s. I was so surprised to see an article on it in one of the cycle magazines around that time. You go, Mr. Peterson!
The torsion bar valve springs make it difficult to change valve springs, also, a 180 degree crank provides a sound I don't prefer, along with a rocking couple vibration I really don't like.Last edited by 850 Combat; 06-09-2017, 12:35 PM.sigpic Too old, too many bikes, too many cars, too many things
