This is one I've toyed with the idea of checking out. It says it's a 2002 for $2500. I'd probably have to sell the Honda to make it work.

I do think one of those could make a fun tourer/commuter, though.https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4442/...678005be58.jpg

It's just a thought, but I've always been a Kawasaki guy at heart, and I think it would be a neat bike to have.
Belay that larger tank, but really, .5 gallons and a bigger motor shouldn't out distance the Honda."Thought he, it is a wicked world in all meridians; I'll die a pagan."

I still like the GS better. Honda seems to only get about 25 mpg or thereabouts. Could be the severe wind we have here most of the time. Yes, the Honda DOES handle better, but no real curvy roads to take advantage of that where I live.
Sorry to hijack the thread.
Carry on.https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4442/...678005be58.jpg

Spent some more time, between rain drops...
Tank and fender paint are great. A little wax goes a long way. Most chrome is coming back to life.
Tank has no fuel gauge?
Is valve adjust procedure same as GS but with different diameter shims?
