Great thread! It's nice seeing lots of 400/450s together to compare, especially since I'd really like to get one some day. And Chainsaws your bike certainly IS looking nice these days - you've really brought it along!"Men will never be free until Mark learns to do The Twist."

Here's my 81 450L slightly modified, its in pieces right now for body work and powdercaoting. Finally got my fuel leak in the tank fixed though. Thats my 92 Katana (My Baby) in the backround.

My 1983 GS450L.
Stock except for the Daytona bars, painted side covers, and the powdercoated grab bar.
I also wrapped the exhaust. I am in the process of rebuilding the master cylinder and front caliper.
I will also be replacing the long brake line with a proper fitting stainless one.

That tank looks interesting, but I'm afraid my back couldn't handle a hard tail.

I dunno, those S' are pretty spiffy!
But I'm happy they concentrated on makin' 'em so reliable and bullet proof rather than how they looked...1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

This is my little 250, overall a great bike to not only learn to ride on but learn to work on too.
