    Engine Vibration

So I'm getting a "clanking" sound while revved up around 4500 RPM. To me it almost sounds like something's loose inside, but have no idea what and why it begins to resonate at 4500. It's a bit difficult to describe so I thought I'd just post a video:

You can hear it pretty clear at 0:35 and 0:47

I just came back from a 50 mile ride and the bike runs great, but the vibration has me concerned. Any ideas?

Cover on top of starter is vibrating.
    Or gas tank on frame
    or horn mount
    or chain guard
    or headlight bucket
    or exhaust loose
""or exhaust pipe chrome guards are loose and vibrating on the pipes""
    or....
    .
    .
    .
Doesn't sound engine related, sounds more resonant related because or such a narrow resonant band at 4500 exactly.

Its resonating vibrations from something loose.

Do another video while moving the camera around those areas above.

Try moving the other keys off the handle bar or remove them altogether also. Might be them vibrating off the handlebar.

Definately agree with mekanix, something is vibrating at that particular engine speed and creating the noise, not the engine itself.

Turns out it was the exhaust. One of the clamps securing the mufler to the exhaust pipe was missing. Well, at least it wasn't the engine. Now to find a replacement...
