    I bought a 1986 GS400E parts bike and...

Looky here at that nice and beefy R and R. I am guessing it will be a direct replacement for my older GS400....

This bit is nitheresting as well. A line connect to the front caliper I guess to lessen the dive during braking. I have seen this on many 80's sport bikes but never on an entry leve bike. It does look like it would retrofit easly in an older GS.

I'd use the R/R but skip the anti dive.It was never very good to begin with and only being on 1 side doesn't help on the GS4000.

I believe it sould the guy I bought it from lost the key to the bike in 2006 and its been sitting ever since.

Cant say 100% if it's good.

I wasnt really planning on selling it since I bought the bike to have spares for myself but if you are in a bind we can work something out.

Do you happen to know if the 1986 has anything electronic-wise that is worth swapping onto a 1980 model?

I guess the anti-dive has more novelty value than anythingelse. Moot since I am throwing a USD setup on my bike this winter but I thought I'd share it with you guyz.
