    gasket kits

Was in the m/c biz for 20 years. But that was when parts were on microfiche and dinosaurs ruled the earth! Am looking for a oem 82 suzuki gs1100e complete gasket kit, but I dont seem to be able to find the kits. hey used to be grouped with paint and acc's on the last page of the fisch. I need upper and lower kits. Forum members were using partsshark.com for oem parts, but I have found cheapcycleparts.com to be cheaper.Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

Did they ship by USPS, so not to pay crazy brokerage fees?
1978 Gs1085 compliments of Popy Yosh, Bandit 1200 wheels and front end, VM33 Smoothbores, Yosh exhaust, braced frame, ported polished head
1983 Gs1100ESD, rebuild finished! Body paintwork happening winter 2017:D

I would rather trust my bike to a technician that reads the service manual than some backyardigan that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix things.

Part# 11402-49863 Desc GASKET SET -SU

This is for the complete gasket kit. As far as I know, Suzuki doesn't sell upper and lower kits, just the complete kit...which isn't complete per say. No rubber seals, just O-rings and gaskets mostly.

Thanks Mr.Nessism, I will check the part # and see what it includes. The motor has 26k on it. Very quiet, but lots of oil leaks. I am leaving this motor stock, asking my self weather I should do a valve job, check guides and seals. By the way, where did you find the part number? Thank you

Sorry Fjbj40...I should have mentioned that I had them ship to Vegas to my brother in laws place that we were visiting. Just put in my luggage and claimed it at customs.

Z1 has 90-something percent of what's listed on their site in stock. They ship within 2 days USPS, usually about $7.00. They have gasket kits but they are not OEM. That supposedly matters for some gaskets.

Funny how this thread was in inadvertently created for a 4 cyl question on the 2 cyl thread for it has been very useful for my 2 cyl project.... Partsoutlaw.com is the only place I'm finding a way to order the gaskets I need for the oil pan and Clutch cover on my GR650. It has been a bear!
                    Thanks guys.

Oops, i didn't realize I was on the 2 cyl thread! I will check out all the suppliers. I am not a big fan of non-oem gaskets in hard to reach motor areas. My time is worth more than the money I may save.

Oh don't apologize! Your question benefited me! When I receive my gaskets from partsoutlaw.com I'll let you know what brand they are.
