high idling and no throttle acclearation

My 1987 gs 450 will start up and warm up fine for about 5 mins. i give it some throttle and sometimes it just sticks at the high rpms and wont go down than after the bike is warm you will suddenly here it slowing down and pretty much bogging out the only way to keep it running is to twist the throttle fully and it will only be a 1,000 - 2,000 rpms and if you let off it, it will stall. the carb has been fully cleaned along with 2 new rubber slides in the carb checked the hoses and no air leaks please help me with this!

Welcome to the forum. I didn't even know Suzuki still made a GS450 in '87. We'll need more information, are you using pods? Did you re-jet if you are? Have you at least bench synced the carbs Did you fully disassemble the carbs and soak them or just spray with spray cleaner? Did you replace the intake O-rings?
