    Camshafts question

Hi, im planning to put US camshafts in my GS400 (german market), i cant find it in stock in shops or i can find only the intake,on ebay cant find some good...
I searched on cmsnl.com and the part number for the intake camshaft is the same 12711-44101 for the gs400 and gs425,but for the exhaust camshaft is 12721-44011 (GS400) and 12721-44010 (GS425) other sites uses the same part number of the gs425 camshaft for the gs400,is there any differences? can i use gs425 camshafts in my gs400?

P.S. i found easier to find gs425 camshafts on ebay than for the gs400.

I'm not sure if there's a difference in the camshafts or not, but I know in the factory Suzuki workshop manual that the cam timing is slightly different in the German market and the number of pins between the camshafts is 19 instead of 18.

To get full performance maybe it's a simple as changing the cam timing as per the US models? I'm not 100% sure but seems like that could be the case.

i dont think its in timing cause my bike is set to 18 like the manual says,,ive read that the difference is in the longer valve opening time, i think its 10degrees more for the intake and 15degrees more for the exhaust....

That sounds about right. You might want to check your PMs [personal messages]. I have some 400 cams. ;-)
