Adjusting clutch on '85 gs450l
My clutch has been engaging at almost full release. I'd like to, if possible, have it engage a bit sooner. I used to have the manual but I can't seem to find where it got to. It's not in my toolbox anymore .Tags: None

Your new manual is here someplace:

Just a little bit, personal preference really, as long as there is some slack. The important adjustment is the lower one.
I think it says 1/4 turn or 1/2 turn out from touching?
Farther is better, if the helix is actually touching the pushrod then everything in there is wearing out as the engine runs.
And it all gets tighter as clutch plates wear normally, so you have to check it once in a while.
