If it's going to be a flip then $500 isn't too bad if it's in good condition cosmetically, looks are more important than function to most people. The thing is, how much more are you going to have to put into it and what price will the local market fetch? If you're in a college town or other "hipster" area you can get a nice chunk of change for an old twin, otherwise it's a 800-1000 bike fully functioning and going down the road in most places.1980 Yamaha XS1100G (Current bike)
