GS1150 motor in a 750?
I have searched the topic and came up with nothing, this is more of just curiosity killed teh cat kinda thing but. Has anyone ever put the 120hp GS1150 motor into an older GS750 frame, say a 79? or any year for that matter.Tags: None

I think some just remove one of the mounting bolts

my point is that crankshaft HP ratings are very misleading.
more of a selling point by the manufacturer when the bikes was new.
1150 engines can make 130 HP at the rear wheel with out removing the head if you know what parts to use and have the knowledge to install and optimize these parts 100%.
1150 engines are my choice............
