    For the 1979 year, does anyone know the standard piston diameters for 750s and 850s ?

    your haynes or Clymer manual knows....

        77-79 GS750=65mm
        All GS850=69mm

          I have some brand-new standard 850 pistons, if you should need any.

              As a matter of interest..... what is the bore for the GS1000 and the 1100?

              I don't have a manual for these

                GS1000= 70mm
                GS1100= 72mm
                GS1150= 74mm
