Vesrah Heavy Duty Clutch
comes with all fiber plates and springs. heavy duty clutch set up from vesrah for a suzuki gs 450, are they any good?Tags: None

You don't need a heavy duty clutch, just a good solid stock clutch. Measure the fiber plates and keep them if they are in spec. Get new stock clutch springs and rough up the metal plates and you should be good to go.Ed

heres what I am planning to buy btw. also my bike has 23,000 miles on as far as I know to be the original clutch, I've only had it since 22,500.

I don't see anything wrong with the kit, however -
I have never needed to replace the fiber plates on any bike, no matter the mileage. As long as they are lubricated, they should last. I have had to buff the metal plates on occasion. I put HD springs on my GPz, but it is also putting out (will put out) about 25% more HP than stock.
I guess I would put this in the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" category.
