Where to find plastic shim around handle side of clutch nub

Sorry i know its a confusing title but when installing a clutch cable. In the handle you put that metal nub but around the nub is a plastic piece where is there a place I could get one of those cause they dont come with the clutch cable.

if you have more questions please let me know.

    Thank you

Hrmmm. They've been molded onto the metal nub of all the clutch cables I remember seeing them on. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't remove it without destrying it (or the cable).

I believe I've seen some without the plastic, but the fit in the clutch lever is good. Perhaps this is a variation among cable manufacturers? If the metal part fits the clutch lever, I'd just go with it. Maybe a dab of grease in the pocket.

+1 on the dab of grease. I do that with all replacement cables and don't look back!
