    I'm having 850 cluch problems

Hello I started putting a GS 850 back to gether last summer and it has been sort of a pain because someone added something to the wire harness. My main problem now is that the pin that disengages the cluch isnt doing anythig. It moves back and forth easily and when the bike is in nutral I move the kick started and the tire moves a little. I have no idea what is wrong and is posting pictures helps out I would gladly do so.

    Hi Mr. Raymond,

Here's a TON of information for you, including a couple of maintenance lists that are more or less mandatory to return your bike back to its original safe, reliable, bullet-proof condition.

Have you taken off the clutch cover to see what's going on in there? Stuck plates? Broken springs? You'll find manuals, guides, and tips on my website that may help. In the meantime, read on for your "mega-welcome". Let's get started.
