tach cable help

    tach cable help

    hopefully someone can identify the part i lost and now need:

    the little slotted plastic piece that connects the tach cable to the little spinning tach drive in the cylinder head.

    i've been over the schematic at bike bandit, but it is unclear to me what i need.

    please help!

    The part that you need is called CABLE ASSY, TACH.

    It is part number 34940-47033.

    PartShark sells it for $12.82.

      thanks, steve.

      i disconnected the darn thing....then got pulled away for a phone call....forgot i had disconnected the thing...started the bike and rode away. it is now lying somewhere in southern vermont.

      anyone finds it, please let me know.
