    82 gs1100e head gasket

    mines leaking oil horribly and needs to be replaced. whats intailed in doing this? im a certified mechanic just seeing if there are and tips or tricks with this.a detailed torque spec chart and or a how too write up would be awesome. thanks for your time brandon

        Probably just going to tell him how straightforward it is...

          Probably gonna tell him what he thinks is a head gasket is really the valve cover gasket.

                I'd get valve cover, cam chain tensioner, head and base gaskets. If low miles and rings are in good shape get a ball hone.
                If needed change out the valve stem seals. Not hard job with the right tool.

                1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.
