How can motor oil be leakinging into the secondary oil 80/90,,on this 1982 GS 1100 shaft drive

Bad seals or gasket between the engine and secondary ??? I dont have one but seems that would be a likely suspect.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

First of all..where are you at..city? What is your mechanical background? I think there are guys here that will be along soon to add more insight. Is your breather hose blocked?
If it is blowby from the combustion chambers has to go somewhere, it will force it's way out of the weakest seals first...Comment

Yes, this. Check the breather hose and breather system at the top of the engine. If you installed pods and just blocked off the breather hose, or if the vent at the top of the airbox is closed, you'll get all sorts of strange leaks.Originally posted by tkent02 View Post
