Piston circlip?
So I have an 82 GS550, pulled the block and took the pistons off. I was pulling out that little ring that holds the cylinder in that holds the piston on the shaft. And it went ping, and disappeared for all eternity. Is this something I can pick up at any decent parts store or do they need to be custom ordered? It seems a simple enough part, but those seem to be the hardest to find sometimes.Tags: None

It is called a:
CIRCLIP, PISTON PIN 09381-16001 (replaces 09381-16002)
and you should always replace them once removed. If you reuse one and it looses its tension, you have just destroyed a cylinder and a piston/ring set.
