    So take the airbox out with it or loosen the screws that attach the air box connectors to the carbs and pull?

      Hi,

      On the 650 you might have to loosen the airbox and slide it back as far as possible (maybe even loosen the rear fender to give you an extra half inch) to get the carbs out. Then the airbox will come out.

      Most of these processes are documented with lots of pictures on my little website. Your 650 might be a little different, but very similar.

      See the Valve Adjustment (8 Valve) guide, the Air Intake Repair guide, there's also a copy of the carb rebuild guide and lots of other handy documentation. Read up.

        Will do, got the airbox loosened up just cant get it to slide out, will start again tomorrow weather pending and try to read up at work on break.
