    GS650 1.0 over

It's time for new pistons and rings. I've decided to go with 1.0 over (63mm). I've got the pistons and 2 sets of rings. The remaining 2 sets of rings aren't obtainable, which has me looking for a set of 63mm rings that will work. Can anyone tell me the diameter of a standard 750 piston? Or recommend a 63mm ring set?

    Thanks
    Kurt

Hi Kurt, I don't know the sizes, but I think if you go to someone like Perfect Seal, Total Seal, or Hastings, they will be able to get you set up. May need to send them a piston to work from? Ray

Resleeve, rebore and use standard pistons and rings. Or buy a good used barrels or the liners from a good set of barrels. You will get your money bacck by selling your pistons on Ebay.

Thank you. I've tried Hastings, their not interested. I'll give Total Seal a shot.
If I need to I'll resort to a re-sleeve and bore using the original pistons and rings they're not in bad shape but the lower half of the sleeves are shot.

I'll let you know what Total Seal comes back with.

Just a note ... total seal is a no go as well.
