    Which Cylinder head gasket??

OK, so Ive been looking online for awhile for a new cylinder head gasket. It seems there are two different gaskets for the 1982 GS650GLZ. I was wondering if anybody knew the difference between the two, or if it matters which one you get.

One just says cylinder head gasket but one says F.NO.104613. Im assuming this means frame number? Where is this number located on the bike so that I can check and see if thats the one I need?

As always, any help is very appreciated

The 2 gaskets have different amounts of holes in different locations. Why is complete mystery

The frame number is found, not surprisingly, on the frame. Specifically, on the steering neck. There should be a foil decal on the left and it's stamped in on the right.

You'll have to pull aside cables and wires to see it, but they're easy to find

BTW, even tho that fiche shows it as a cylinder head gasket, it's the valve cover gasket

Try Partshark.com instead, I'll bet the price is lower

But, if you have a local dealer, his price may be comparable to the online price plus shipping for one item

    Are you staying dry?

Lol it's stormin but no tornadoes have hit me yet.....close tho lol.
The number stenciled in is the VIN, and the upper half of my foil is missing.
      Found this:
"It fits the 1981-83 GS650G, GL, the 1981-82 GS650E and the 1983 GS650M. It is genuine Suzuki. The part number is 11173-34211. This gasket fits bike with frame numbers 104613 and higher. I have gasket for frame numbers up to 104612 in another listing."

SOOOOO.... 10412 is for frame numbers at and under 10412
and the 10413 is for frame numbers 10413 and higher???

My VIN is JS1GP71L7C2103897, so I need the 10412?
