I have a question for the forum here.
I know it isn't a classic GS but am hoping someone here has some experience with the 91-93 G.
I seem to have an oil leak coming from the oil seal on the secondary drive output shaft. I get a couple drips of oil coming from under the rubber boot that covers the universal joint after going for a ride.
My questions are is this an easy seal to replace without any specialized tooling? Is it going to be a precursor to a more serious failure and should be addressed immediately or just dealing with a drooling secondary drive?
Thanks to all for any advice offered. I find myself working on the 91 more than my 82 and that is all thanks to the help offered by the members here.
