    Smaller rear sprocket.

One of my GS 750's has an unknown mod that has uprated the torque. 5th gear is like 3rd - 4th gear and it will pop wheelies in 3rd. this is all well and good but i would go with changing the rear sprocket for a smaller one giving it a higher ratio through all the gears. I am having difficulty getting info on what sprockets are available and where to acquire them. I live in the UK any help appreciated.
Advised to start a new thread for this.

Have you checked www.sprocketspecialists.com? They have a chart that lists the stock sizes.

      Lower rpm desired? Try this!

I converted my 82 750 EZ from 630 to 530 chain, choosing an 18 tooth front and a 40 tooth rear sprocket. This dropped my engine rpm's an average of 1000 to 1200 rpm in each gear, and made the bike much more enjoyable to ride (plus, my gas mileage has increased to 53 miles per U.S. gallon!) My engine rpm is around 2800 rpm's at 55 mph (88 kph.)

I bought the 530 sprockets and X-ring chain from Z1 Enterprises. They did a great job of listening to my description of too high rpm's in all gears, and my desire to gear the bike so that highway riding was more enjoyable with less vibration.

Feels like a new motorcycle now and I could not be happier with the gearing.

        Want to lower rpms?

Here is a link to Z1's web site explaining the 630 to 530 Chain/sprocket conversion:
