    Exhaust Flange Oil leak!?

Ok, started my GS650 up the other day and let it warm up, I then noticed that there was oil leaking out of the first exhaust flange off of the left side of the engine block (see attached).
I called a buddy and he said the area should be dry and that I need the do a valve job. Does this sound correct?

    Thanks All

What you need to do is some maintenance. Adjusting the valves is a good start, and make sure the valve cover gasket is sealing properly. Exhaust flanges don't leak, but stuff does drip on them.

Having a black head really does not help spot exactly where leaks are coming from lol
