how do you know its leaking from the plug holes?
                are they visible damaged?

You can get an appropriat tap and chase out the holes. I think you need a special tap not sure though.

When it was cold I took the plug wires off and sprayed carb clever around them and cranked it on the up stoke u could hear and see bubbling

Gosh yah know that isnt even int he manual.
Its an air cooled engine and if it is jetted properly it will run in a range that will not destroy the engine.

Do not let is sit idling for more than a few minutes or you are asking for heartache.

Do you think it is runing too hot? Check your plugs and tell us the colour and so on.

And do not buy a manual. A little piece of me dies when folks buy manuals that are freely available.
