Search on "oil cooler" will find you details beyond your dreams. Is that 16 V motor? there are two plugs next to the oil filter plate.

Also you would need a 1150 oil plate cover to direct the oil through the oil lines.

      Not on a G
You need an adapter plate on the oil sending unit.
      Ask Rapidray for one.

You can make your own adapter plate using a tutorial hosted by Basscliff. Failing that, I have a few home made kits.

Fitting a cooler to an 8valve engine will require the sending block that nessism has pictured above. You will also need fitting and oil lines (I'd suggest stainless braided line) and doing it will require removing your carbs, the existing block, and finding a place to mount it and or fabricating a bracket to hang the cooler from. The most obvious place is right up front, but you'll need to get it above the header pipes. On my 1100G, I relocated the horns and used the bosses in the frame for the old horn brackets to mount the cooler/bracket to.

$50 including the fittings and pressure pressure switch (which costs $15 as I recall). I assume you are going to use barb type fittings and hose clamps?

Oh, and you don't have to remove the carbs to install it.

I used AN fittings, but that lockhart cooler uses slip barb. You could use AN fittings on the adapter side and slip barb on the cooler side if you want.

I still have the lines as shown but got rid of the cooler.
