Any tips for getting the studs to stay in the engine and not simply get unscrewed the next time I do an oil change? I got new studs but not sure how to put them in so that they stay and don't get loosened when I loosen the oil filter cover nuts???

Thanks for the links and the photos of your sweet bike. You seem to have a lot of knowledge, so I will ask you directly what is the trick to putting the stud bolts back into the engine when replacing the stud bolts on a 1978 oil filter cover?? ThanksComment
