    Front Engine Bolt

Anybody have issues with the front engine bolt

I just took off the crash bars so I needed a new bolt, got the right part from Suzuki but it is too long, the nut runs out of thread before getting close to tight

I looked on my other Kat but there is no spacer

Is it just that I have the wrong part or am I am missing something?

If you have got the washers fitted and it won't tighten you have the wrong bolt. Should measure 10 X 250

yep, washers and spring washers. how much too long is it? maybe double up on the flat washers so it clamps up, saves buying another one, or get the threads tapped a bit longer maybe

        The bolt is 10 x 250, but off the 1000 it is 10 x 235
The spacing between the front frame brackets is the same on both the 1100 and the 1000

Guess I'm going to be looking for a spacer to make this one work, 15mm of washers is going to look like crap

retap it and cut a bit off the end
