    GS1150 clutch mod

Well bought a Schnitz Racing clutch mod kit(see jpeg) for Hammer Time. Any opinions on how good this kit is? Was wondering how hard it is to install.

Maybe Rapidray or blowerbike can help with a step by step walk thru. With pictures? I have access to a full metal working shop with a 50 ton press and welders. I'll probably MIG the rivets in. Or anybody else can chime in with experience on doing this. Thanks for any help guys!

      New part came in

Today!! Thanks Madjack for the link. The referenced website dosen't say much about a new clutch hub nut. Is that needed on the 1150? I thought everone who did this upgrade would get the better clutch hub nut. Some aftermarket one like APE or something.

Yah its recomended for 1100-1150's as the stock nut is of a weaker metal. The threads wear and overall will loosen up over time, allowing everything to woble. The HD replacement (especially for only bout $25) is a cheap piece of mind component.

I used to give away pieces of my mind.

I have to be careful now, there's not much left.
