Oil pressure gauge 84gs550ef

Is there anyway to replace the oil sensor/light with a gauge ? If so has anyone done this or have info on the mod ? Thanks

I am pretty sure the pressure sinding unit is either on or off so you would not be able to get a reading off the current setup.

There are manufacturers of oil pressure gauges. Lockhart has one I think.
But there are other options.

Why do you want a gauge?

trust a gauge more than a light. I think a gauge could be attached where the manual says to hook up a diagnostic gauge. There's a bolt on the oil filter housing that comes out to hook up the gauge. Just wondered about a fitting and hose etc.

That's it. Is the location I mentioned where I should attach the hardware ? The 550ef is different than the pics I think as far as the gallery location .
