    Cam cover instalation

Hey guys...I am about to reinstall a new cam cover and I'm sure all will be fine but just in case is there anything I need to watch out for....one thing I did have trouble with when the old one came off was the old gasket, it was a nightmare to remove especially not getting bits dropping down under the cams....any advice welcome

    cheers

Put a light coat of grease on the new gasket to facilitate removal the next time.

Two of your screws are different lengths than the others and need to go back in the right holes. On my bike it was left front and right rear. It also means the new gasket must line up the same way so pay attention to it.

Plus like mike said, spray one side with wd-40 or other similar and it will make it easier to remove later. Note I said easier and not perfectly though
