Alright, we dug into her today, the pistons had some carbon build up on them but we scratched a little off and theyre still nice and chrome underneath. Measured the bore and its 83mm, looking at the APE site they means its a 1395cc or a 1400cc motor. Here are some pics:

something that struck as odd, was the cam has what looks like a speedo drive on it? But there isn't a speedo port on the front of the motor? would that mean they're from another bike?
Ill get some pics of the pistons later.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Look for a grind number by the sprocket on the cams. Most aftermarket cams have the tach gear for the 1100s.

Oops, tach drive my mistake. I'll get that grind number and look for a stamp after we take the sprockets off the cams.

              Alright here are the cams:

We took the gear off and didn't find any stamps, so maybe they're stock? Also no stamps on the ends of the cams.

I believe they are Megacycle cams.
