    GS850 vs GS1000 clutch parts

Ok, let's start this over in the right forum.

Anyone know the difference between GS850 and GS1000E/C clutch parts?

I have a lot of spare parts for a GS1000 but not for my GS850.

I need new clutch springs on my 850, but not sure if the springs on the 1000 fit. I see some aftermarket cross over but the factory numbers are different.

    What's the difference?

As mentioned in your other thread, the clutch discs are totally different size. The springs are apparently different too, although I don't know why. Most likely a diameter difference. Brand new OEM springs are only about $3.00 each so it's not worth a whole lot of effort to dig further.
