82 750E 530 conversion HELP
I have just gone through about 90 pages and cannot find the answer for my 82 750E. I would like to do the 530 chain conversion, got on gearcommander and figured I would just up the front sprocket to a 17 and keep a 41 on the back with a 110 link chain I think it was. Has anyone done an '82? where did you get your sprockets and chain? I checked JT and they only seem to go to 16 for the front. Z1 doesn't list anything about whether the EMGO rear 41 will fit on the 82. HELP. Also, recommendations, criticisms, etc are welcome. My goal is better mpg on a 40 mile one-way commute.
