1979 Gs 1000L reliable ?
Found a 79 1000L on craigslist for $795. Not sure how many miles on the bike. I've owned an 81 Kz550 and let me tell you that was a dream ! Now wanting to pick another bike up and ran across this.

It can be made reliable, but only after you do a good bit of work to it bringing all the maintenance up to date. That bike looks abused, so include fixing a bunch of stuff on top of just doing maintenance. Unless you enjoy wrenching I'd stay clear. Also, budget at least $400 on top of the purchase price for needed parts to get the bike road worthy.Ed

Since it has been crashed at least twice, the level of neglect is probably high
I'd budget $600-1,000 to fix everything that's wrong, worn out or damaged
