I have a 82 850G and I was wondering if the 1100 shafty engine will fit in my frame??.Tags: None

The '82 850G and '82 1100G share the same frame.
You may need the motor mounts from the 1100, but it will fit.

Actually, I think it's a drop in proposition for the mounts. The drive shaft however from what I've read may need swapped but I'm not positive.

The reason I ask is that although my 850 runs like a top ( only 22,000 miles ) it's a little underpowered for what I'm useing it for.A 1100 would do well I think.Now I just need to find a good running 1100 !!
