I just have to ask !!

I have a 82 850G and I was wondering if the 1100 shafty engine will fit in my frame??.

I'll trade you a 1000G engine, that will fit for certain, for the 1100G engine.

The '82 850G and '82 1100G share the same frame.

You may need the motor mounts from the 1100, but it will fit.

Actually, I think it's a drop in proposition for the mounts. The drive shaft however from what I've read may need swapped but I'm not positive.

The reason I ask is that although my 850 runs like a top ( only 22,000 miles ) it's a little underpowered for what I'm useing it for.A 1100 would do well I think. Now I just need to find a good running 1100 !!
