Free gasket.
I got this gasket from a place in Wisconsin. It was the wrong one for my 81 GLX. Its not worth the postage to send it back. Anyone want it? Pay the postage and I'll send it to you.Tags: None

Kind of hard to make out the number, even by blowing up the picture, but it sure looks like the correct number.
Correct number is 11482-49100, and supposedly fits 850, 1000 and 1100 shaft-drive models from '80-'83.
If that is what it is, I will put in a bid for it.
I have previously noticed that the '82 and '83 gaskets did not have the bump at the top edge of your gasket, as it (and the hole) were there to clear the kickstarter on the '79s. They kept the shape for '80 and '81, then changed it for '82. That's OK, I have an '80 850, an '81 850 and an '80 1000 that it should fit.

looks like a clutch gasket, and the part number is correct for your model year according to both Boulevard Suzuki and PowersportsPlus.
If you were looking for a crankcase cover (left) gasket, the part should be 11482-45100'83 GS650G
'83 GS550es (didn't like the colours in the 80's, but they've grown on me)

Judging by the time I got Eric's email, looks like he got 1st dibs. PN# on the label is 11482-45100.

The 81 G and L had different clutch covers. G's had the kickstart bump, L's were like the 1000's without the bump.
Buddy09 Yamaha Venture Royal (my first Yamaha)
83 Honda VT500FT Ascot (three of them)
81 GS650G for the wife.
82 Suzuki GS850GL Bought it 3 times, sold it twice, then traded for a nice 82 GS1100G AND a 93 Honda 750 Nighthawk, even WOW!
