valve adjustment
I have a 1983 GS1100GL.I am working on adjusting my valves,my bike is a 8 valve engine.I have a clymer shop manual and it is saying to have the cam lobe pointing straight up then check the valve clearence and that is the way you check all of the valves. On basscliffs web site it is saying to have the cam lobe pointing toward the front of the bike to check the exhaust valves and to have the cam lobe pointing straight up for the intake valves.I do not know what to do,please help,Thank You.Tags: None
