      Wow, that was fast.
You were just looking for an excuse to rip the motor apart! haha

        Hahaha.
In all honesty I'd rather be riding...

I pretty much have to be just as fast putting it back together, because I can't get the gaskets until monday morning. Elbow grease over the weekend, assembly Monday before lunch, and DMV in the afternoon.

        Wish me luck.

Eight hours of scraping old gasket.

            Today carbs.
I found an ultra sound cleaner in the workshop.
Hope I can reuse the o-rings.

Hope you found an original Suzuki gasket kit. If you use an Athena kit (green gaskets) you will be in there again doing the base gasket a second time. Don't ask me how I know.

No gaskets yet, but I'm not buying a kit that isn't original.
I don't want to do this again soon.

                  Cleaned and assembled.
One question: where did the overflow hose go?

Down between the frame and the swing arm.

How about the other hose to the petcock. One is the green big one above, the other one goes on the petcock and then somewhere on the carb assembly. Where?

                      Another question:
The sync hose nipples on the intake boots were connected (1-4 and 2-3) with tubes. What is that for? Make sense to you?

The vacuum port for the petcock is on #3. The ports on #2 & #4 are float bowl vents (note: the little rubber connectors between the other two carbs, thus you only need two vents).

As for the sync ports, they should be plugged, not connected to each other.

                          Thanks.
Not really sure what rubber connectors you are thinking of?

OK, thanks. Great. I don't think there was anything connected to those vents at all. The service manual calls for pipes to go over the airbox.

There's nothing right now I'm wondering about. If the shop has all the gaskets I need, assembling the bike in time is plausible. Zero fukkups, and I'm good.

                                Nah. No gaskets today.
                                Stored for two weeks.
