    1100ez slipping

    my ez is slipping
when i go to pass someone it just revs and doesnt take off like i think it should

i recently changed over the springs and the cable to new suzuki ones

    still does it

so im thinking its time for fibers

how many are in the basket?

going to order stock ones from bike bandit

they give individual pricing and just want to know how many to order

or should i go with an aftermarket kit? or are stock ones best?

The fast by gast plates work well and will save you a few dollars.

A regular go-to here is to contact and order from these guys ... Fast By Gast http://www.fastbygast.com/

Tell 'em what model you have and they'll walk you through the upgrade. It's simple and worked perfectly for me. (From memory I believe you'll ditch one of the fibres & one of the steel plates as a consequence)
Also, with a set of calipers you'll be able to confirm that your stock fibres are indeed under thickness spec, when you pull them out.

Are you running with the diesel engine oil (like RotellaT) which has additives that our wet clutches perform so well with?

Others with more knowledge will expound.

Take the clutch pack out and measure the fibers. Deglaze the steels with steel wool.
2.6mm is the minimum thickness on fibers but I go with 2.8.
See if your clutch basket is notched up from the fiber tangs. This can prevent your clutch pack from sliding together and binding.
