not quite right
So I adusted the worm gear and test drove about 5-6 times. I got the clutch engagment to move from lever all the way out back to lever all the way in and everywhere in between. I got that adjustment down.
I still have the problem where it will have no grab than go to complete engagement all at once. What do you guys think? Springs, or plates?

I have generously lubed it. I think that is not the issue. It lever pulls the cable just fine no problems there. It moves all the way in and all the way out. It just grabs abruptly all at once.

Is the clutch really stiff? I would check the clutch basket to see if it's all grooved which can make it grabby. There's not a whole lot to the clutch assembly, you'll find the issue soon enough.
I would check inside the sprocket cover while you're at it, maybe the clutch rod is bent?

Take the clutch apart... Get the clutch plates separated and you will be suprised how simple it really is. Be careful of what plate comes out last, hence what goes in first. Other than a grooved basket, you should be good. If something looks wrong, take a pic and get it up here. the guys love pictures.
