    Hay I start the bike gs1100e let it run about 3 minute and the pipes turn glowing orange can someone tell me what that mean.

            Idle is way too lean or timing way too retarded, or both. It will burn expensive things up if you run it like that.

                Wow. I guess you expect people to answer you within minutes, especially that late at night?????????? How about giving people time to even look through the posts and read. Then trying to come off like some jerk isn't going to make any want to help. Heck, I'm surprised Tkent was in such a good mood to answer.

                      No, he's OK. I posted a bunch of humorous (to me) smart ass remarks that when I read them later would not be funny to someone who had these bike problems, especially if he was not familiar with my unique sense of humor.
                      So being the considerate guy that I am, I deleted them.
                      I need to save my teasing for you or Chuck.
