how much oil should the camshaft be sitting in?
I just measured my valve clearances for the first time on my GS650G. There was a lot more oil surrounding the camshaft than I expected - three of the valve's shims were completely submerged in oil. Is this normal, or do I maybe have a leak somewhere? I replaced the valve cover gasket while I was in there, if that helps.Tags: None
