I got a leaky 1100 that is befuddling me. I was at the track for the last time and I have oil all over the left side. I even found oil on my elbow... The motor was just rebuilt last winter. It did not leak right away... but it seems to get worse as runs are put on it. I really don't want to put a diaper on it. Does anyone know of a dye to put in the oil for ultraviolet light to reveal?

Or you can do the GS advised way and clean the engine well with some degreaser and have it dry. Then apply some spray on foot powder such a Tinactin or whatevers the cheapest and let that set up a bit. Start the engine and let it run and start looking at any and all suspect places. Soon as the oil starts to seep the powder will start looking wet and discolored... do a search on this. Mnay have posted pics of it in action.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
